Top actresses Ha Ji Won and Bae Doo Na star as Hyun Jung Hwa and Lee Boon Hee, two athletes from different sides of the peninsula who took on the great challenge of playing as a team against the weight of history. To prepare for her role, Ha Ji Won underwent intense training with Hyun Jung Hwa, who served as a consultant for the film. Lee Jong Suk (Secret Garden), Han Ye Ri (Ordinary Days), Choi Yoon Young (Little Black Dress), Oh Jung Se (Over My Dead Body), Park Chul Min, and Kim Eun Soo also co-star in As One.
