Anime production firm Production I.G. (Ghost in the Shell, Blood: The Last Vampire) established a new subsidiary named Wit Studio, and it is making its debut with an adaptation of Attack on Titan. The sci-fi epic takes place in an alternate Earth in which a humanoid race named Titans have taken over the world and forced humanity to live behind a system of walls. 100 years later, the Titans disrupt the uneasy balance by destroying an important part of the wall. Humanity’s only hope lies in Eren Jaeger, a young man who discovers that he can transform into a Titan and become a formidable enemy against the invaders.
