Attack the Gas Station – again! Director Kim Sang Jin’s highly anticipated sequel to his late 90s blockbuster is set at the same station that was held up ten years ago in Attack the Gas Station. Park Yeong Gyu returns as the unfortunate station owner, but this time he’s got to deal with a new generation of punks played by Ji Hyun Woo (Fly High), Jo Han Sun (Lost and Found), Mun Won Joo (Modern Boy), and Jeong Jae Hun (Public Enemy Returns). Like the first film, Attack the Gas Station 2 takes a rowdy premise and runs with it, packing scrappy action, social commentary, and loud humor into an escalating gas station siege.
After getting robbed and attacked by a bike gang, gas station owner Mr. Park has learned his lesson and now fights fire with fire. He’s hired a group of rambunctious, fist-happy misfits – kimchi heir One Punch (Ji Hyun Woo), former soccer player High Kick (Jo Han Sun), potbellied wrestler Body Twist (Moon Won Joo), and video game addict Yaburi (Jeong Jae Hoon) – capable of defending the station. But who’s going to defend the station from them? When Park refuses to cough up their overdue salaries, the four guys engineer a coup and take over the joint. They’re just planning on getting their money, but all kinds of trouble starts rolling into their station!
