In 2011, Tanaka Hiroshi’s manga series BADBOYS was adapted into a feature film by Kubota Takashi starring a cast of hot young actors. Kubota returns to the BADBOYS saga as a co-writer of television series BADBOYS J. Following the plot of the original manga, the drama depicts a fierce battle between three Hiroshima gangs aiming to be the kings of the city. This time, the young thugs are played by members of Johnny’s idol groups Sexy Zone, Kis-My-Ft2, A.B.C-Z, Johnny’s Jr, as well as Nogizaka46 and AKB48.
