A kidnapping during an environmental summit meeting held in Wangan Precinct’s turf sends the entire police station into panic mode. Hours later, a body killed by a police-issued gun is discovered nearby, and young police official Torikao (Oguri Shun) is brought in by headquarters to take charge of the investigation. Like in all headquarters-led investigations, local detectives are forced to become foot soldiers, much to the chagrin of the cops under recently promoted section chief Aoshima (Oda Yuji). However, when the police discovers that the son of a Wangan cop has been kidnapped, the entire station unites in solidarity to solve the case, even if it may come at the cost of losing one of their own..
