After two hit seasons on television, Hana Yori Dango completes its bumbling romantic journey on the silver screen in the 2008 blockbuster Hana Yori Dango: Final (a.k.a. Boys Over Flowers: Final). Set four years after the TV series, Hana Yori Dango: Final is much like the drama, only bigger and better with the addition of Fujiki Naohito (Hotaru no Hikari) and veteran Kitaoji Kinya to the cast and location shooting in America, Hong Kong, and even a tropical island. After experiencing countless ups and downs, feuding couple Makino Tsukushi (Inoue Mao) and Domyoji Tsukasa (Matsumoto Jun) are finally ready to tie the knot – or so they think! Having finally earned the blessings of Tsukasa’s mother, bride-to-be Makino is presented the Domyoji family heirloom, a precious tiara worth 10 billion yen, but it gets stolen from under their noses in a daring heist. Worried that the theft will be used as an excuse to call off the marriage, Tsukasa and Makino resolve to recover the tiara on their own with the help of the other members of F4. Arguing every step of the way, the feuding couple head off on a wild-goose chase that takes them to Las Vegas, Hong Kong, and other far-out places, but the tiara keeps slipping from their fingers as time, money, and patience run thin. Can their love hold up to the test?.
