Veteran Canto-pop singer Johnny Yip started his career as the lead singer of the band The New Topnotes in the 70s. After they broke up, he became famous as a solo singer in the 80s. Yip is known as the singer of many popular TV series theme songs from the last twentysomething years. Held on August 16, 2007 at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre, the veteran singer’s Johnny Yip 35 Years Live concert revisits some of his most memorable songs including “Life Is Like A Drama” (Track 19), “Female Flutist” (Track 15), and “Forgotten Love of My Life” (Track 29).
