Loosely adapted from mega-hit 2011 Korean drama City Hunter, which itself was a loose adaptation of the Hojo Tsukasa-penned manga of the same name, this 2014 incarnation of City Hunter stars the eternally young Jimmy Lin (Where Are We Going, Dad?) as He Xiao, the man at the center of the action adventure series.
In the early days of the Republic of China, mainstream society was essentially run by the underground. Crime was rife and innocent civilians were often caught in the crossfire in conflicts between criminal factions.
