Single father Pau Chi Tai (Bosco Wong) works in a coffee shop where he meets the owners Ma Sze Nga (Michelle Yim), Bean (Eliza Sam) and So Mei (Nancy Wu). The biological mother of Bean, Ma runs the coffee together with her late husband’s second wife So Mei. A high flyer in medical school, Bean decides to put school on hold to focus on her late father’s business, bringing her closer and closer to Pau. So Mei also falls deeply in love with Yam (Vincent Wong) who already has a girlfriend..
