Touted as Thai cinema’s first homegrown 3D movie, Dark Flight is the latest spooky brainchild from Isara Nadee, part of the Ronin Team that directed the infamous Art of the Devil 2. The aircraft chiller took its inspirations from the worst aviation disaster ever in Thailand that resulted in over a hundred casualties in 1998. With singer/actress Marsha Watanapanich (Alone and Phobia 2) top-lining, the flick combines the claustrophobic nature of flying and the classic haunted house setup with the latest 3D technology to hair-raising, spine-tingling effect. It’s no surprise that the Thai horror blockbuster has managed to possess moviegoers everywhere in the Southeast Asia.

Young flight attendant New (Marsha Wattanapanich) miraculously survived a tragic plane crash ten years ago. Insisting that it was the doings of the vengeful spirits onboard, she was ordered to receive psychotherapy. Today, she is able to return to the frontline. But on her first comeback flight from Bangkok to Phuket, New is shocked to find that her plane is the one that crashed ten years ago, only having been repaired and refurbished by the airline. Now that the plane, shrouded in an unsettling eeriness, has already taken off, it’s too late for her to back out. With nowhere to run, New and the other passengers are plunged into the fright of their lives…

This version comes with both the 3D version and the 2D version of the movie on Blu-ray. A 3D Blu-ray player, 3D TV and compatible 3D glasses (not included herein) are required for the playback of the 3D version..
