The debut feature of writer-director Hua Ming, 2013’s Fall In Love is a gentle modern romance with comedic elements set in various workplaces. Young dentist Sisong (Wallace Chung, Drug War) has been patiently supporting career-minded girlfriend Lili (Zhang Li, I Do) as she pursues her professional goals. When Lili runs into crisis at work, Sisong decides to propose to her, but Lili ultimately chooses her career over their relationship.
Advertising company employee Xiaobei (Wang Ziwen, Aftershock) meets and falls in love with Tianlang (Ren Zhong, A A Zhi Sheng Huo), whose wife disappeared mysteriously three years ago. Though he misses his wife greatly, Tianlang decides to make a new start with Xiaobei. One day, however, Tianlang shockingly encounters his missing wife in a flower shop and decides to break things off with Xiaobei.
Sisong and Xiaobei meet each other at low points in their lives, and through a series of coincidences and circumstances, they start to fall in love with one another. Will this be their happily ever after?.
