Twelve years after the original Friend broke Korea’s box office records, the classic gangster drama about brotherhood and betrayal returns with a sequel, again directed by Kwak Kyung Taek. Friend, The Great Legacy takes on an ambitious multi-generation storyline set in the present day, the nineties and the sixties, with Yoo Oh Sung reprising his role from the original film.
