The Hui Brothers re-invented Hong Kong film with their groundbreaking 1974 Cantonese comedy Games Gamblers Play which launched their successful careers. The creative siblings take on multiple duties, with Michael writing, directing, and starring opposite Sam, who also composes and sings the theme song. They get a helping hand from the legendary Sammo Hung, who provides action choreography to the film.
Man (Michael Hui) knows quite a few gambling tricks. He meets fellow conman Kit (Sam Hui) in the jail, and they decide to team up for scams when they get out. The duo comes up with a seemingly seamless plan designed to con a huge sum of money out of a nefarious gang boss. But they soon have to forget about making a fortune as their plan gets exposed and the gang boss wants them dead….
