Starring Ivy Chen (Hear Me), Yang Zishan (So Young) and Fiona Sit (Break Up Club) as the trio of female friends at the center of the story, the film grossed over US$32 million and is Barbara Wong’s most commercially successful movie to date.
Gentle hotel manager Xiwen (Ivy Chen), pragmatic assistant film director Xiaomei (Yang Zishan) and domineering magazine executive Kimmy (Fiona Sit) have been friends for almost two decades, but the bonds of their friendship are severely tested by the dawning of adulthood and the romantic obstacles it comes with. The trouble starts when Xiwen discovers that her fiance Lin Jie (Wallace Chung, Fall In Love) has been cheating on her. Devastated, she goes drinking in a bid to drown her sorrows and meets the gentlemanly Qiao Li (Shawn Yue, As The Light Goes Out), with whom Xiwen develops a friendship that may lead to something more. Meanwhile, Xiaomei finds herself irresistibly drawn to freewheeling musician Jiu Tian (Vanness Wu, Road Less Traveled), but the fact that Kimmy is also interested in him threatens to tear the girls apart.
