Grand Prix captures the thrills, trials, and triumphs of racing through the experiences of a determined female jockey.
Jockey Joo Hee (Kim Tae Hee) quits horse racing after injuring her arm and losing her horse in a terrible accident. She heads to Jeju Island to get away from it all, but she ends up meeting a fellow jockey, Woo Seok (Yang Dong Geun). A former Japan Cup champion, Woo Seok is also going through a tough slump. With his support and encouragement, Joo Suk finds the courage to return to the racetrack for the Grand Prix.
