Directed by the Pang Brothers, Hong Kong’s first 3D disaster film Out of Inferno delivers visually striking, meticulously planned fire scenes and unnerving stunts vividly acted out by award-winning actors Lau Ching Wan, Louis Koo and Angelica Lee. In the 1970s, the Hong Kong government enacted a policy that granted each male heir of New Territories villagers the privilege to build a house without paying any dues to the government. However, the Luk family’s NT Land Group shocks the village when it decides to go public thanks to an ambitious residential high-rise project made possible with the grants it bought up and the help of a businessman from Mainland China (Huang Lei).
