The runaway success of drama Boys Over Flowers has launched Kim Hyun Joong’s popularity to a new high in Korea and throughout Asia. To express his gratitude for all the love and support he received, the idol-turned-actor specially organized a fan event in Seoul on March 31, 2009 to watch the drama’s final episode together with his fans. During the fan meeting, Kim Hyun Joong performed solo and with SS501, offering his acoustic rendition of “Because I’m Stupid” and other songs from the drama. Fellow F4 members Kim Bum and Kim Jun also appeared as special guests.
