Taiwanese diva Jody Chiang reveals her secret love life in her 2010 new album! The veteran songstress has sung so many tunes about love and marriage, but this time, it promises to be the most personal for her yet. Titled Tong Si Beh Ke (Minnanese for “When Get Married?”), the album’s titular single is about Jody’s – and maybe just about every woman’s – longing for a life partner. Through the semi-autobiographical song, Jody admits that although still single and the prospect of her getting married doesn’t seem high, she is thankful to be around so many people who have loved and supported her. Co-produced by Jody and Eric Chen, the album features cover artwork by Grammy-nominated designer Xiao Qing Yang and the China National Symphony Orchestra on strings. Other major cuts of the album include a song composed by Mando-pop king Jay Chou (Track 3: “Sayonara”) and a song penned by Jody herself (Track 4: “Aiyoaiyo”).
The DVD contains the karaoke videos of all 10 songs of the album..
