Meet Love Myself or You‘s Du Kai Qi (Puff Kuo, Just You). Once a cheerful little girl, she’s now grown into a detached young woman driven by only one thing: her wish to become a chef. One day, to her astonishment and delight, she eats the most delicious meal she’s ever eaten. She takes a picture of the chef’s signature on the plate and asks to see him, but an emergency forces her to leave without meeting the person responsible for her perfect meal. With her sous chef promotion test just around the corner, she draws inspiration from the picture of that signature. After giving it all she’s got during the test, she loses out to her rival thanks to the ruling of the new restaurant intern Ah Jie (Jasper Liu Yi Hao, Amour et Patisserie), which, of course, doesn’t endear him to Kai Qi. Unbeknownst to Kai Qi, though, Ah Jie is actually her employer’s son, her new neighbor, and crucially, the chef who cooked the best meal of her life..
