Veteran Hong Kong kung fu star Leung Ka Yan was in his prime when he made the movie Profile in Anger in 1984. He was not only the star, but also the action choreographer, and for the first time in his film career, the director and co-writer. He also lined up a solid cast for the Golden Harvest production, including Pat Ha, Damian Lau, action actors Phillip Ko, Michael Chan, and Shaw Brothers star Chang Yi.
In the crime actioner Leung Ka Yan plays architect Leung Chun Yue, who is going to marry his fiancee Hydi (Pat Ha). Their peaceful life doesn’t last much longer when they meet longtime friend Wong Kin Hang (Damian Lau) and put him up at their place. Kin Hang has come back from South Africa to settle the score with Wai Kit (Chang Yi), who conned his father out of a diamond deal before killing him. Now the crime lord has already sent his trusted right-hand man (Phillip Ko) and top hitman (Michael Chan) to finish them off, too….
