Set in a Taiwan military dependents’ village from the 1950s to the 1970s, CTV’s sweeping drama Story of Time (a.k.a. Guang Yin De Gu Shi) follows the lives and times of different generations of Taiwan youth and families. Calling up fond memories and sentiments of yesteryear, the nostalgic series greatly connected with a wide range of viewers, pulling in high ratings during its entire run. The series was such a hit in Taiwan, a second season will begin shooting in summer 2009.
Produced by Wang Wei Zhong, Story of Time draws both tears and laughter with small-town stories in postwar Taiwan brought to life by a stellar ensemble cast of veterans and young stars.
