The stars of the highly rated TVB comedy show Fun with Liza and Gods reunite for a period drama that promises to have you in stitches! Liza Wang and the funnyman trio Fook Luk Sau (Louis Yuen, Wong Cho Lam, and Johnson Lee) headline Super Snoops, one of the main productions made to celebrate the station’s 44th anniversary. Set in 1960s Hong Kong, the highly anticipated drama combines hilarious nostalgia and modern pop-culture references with a super-powered fantasy twist! Liza is Sun Chiu Tung, an inspector who left the police force to open her own private detective agency after her partner was killed in suspicious circumstances during a shootout.
Years later, she bumps into three young men – clownish hawker Kung Tuk Lam (Louis Yuen), claustrophobic con man Kung Chak Lam (Wong Cho Lam), and sweet-talking constable Chui Shui (Johnson Lee) by chance while investigating a murder case. It happens that they are then struck by lightning, and each of the foursome acquires an uncanny ability! Chiu Tung can foresee the future, Tuk Lam can turn into a kung fu superhero, Chak Lam can go through walls, and Chui Shui can induce any female to tell the truth. But there’s a catch – their super-powers last only a minute at a time, and will produce some undesirable side effects on them! With their newfound abilities, the buddies join Chiu Tung’s agency and form a ragtag team of super-detectives!.
