As the banquet tradition dies down, Taiwan cuisine begins to see its plight. Eager to pass on the heritage, Master God Fly Spirit hopes to teach his life knowledge in the art of cooking to his only daughter Hsiao Wan (Kimi Hsia) but her biggest dream is to be a star and the family tradition is seemingly lost after he passes away. Hsiao Wan impulsively promises to organize a banquet for a pair of newlyweds in their golden years who yearn for the taste of traditional dishes.
