The Kid With A Tattoo (Hong Kong Version)
Members of the team behind The Kid With A Tattoo has each made a name with his own expertise. Director Sun Chung was one of Shaw Brothers’ most productive directors. Screenplay writer Ni Kuang’s ability to tell captivating stories has been proved by his many scripts for the Shaw Brothers and his hugely popular sci-fi novels. Tang Chia was also one of the best-known action choreographers during the hay-day of the Shaw Brothers studio.
Actor Wang Yu, famous for his swordsman roles in Shaw Brothers films, plays Li in The Kid With A Tattoo. He witnesses how the villain Fei, played by Yuen Wah (who starred in Kung Fu Hustle two decades later), kills his martial arts teacher. Though he succeeds in escaping from the scenario, Fei already sees his eagle tattoo on the chest. A vigorous fight between the two seems inevitable….
