Irie Naoki and Aihara Kotoko are back! The Japanese live-action adaptation of Itazura na Kiss, the very popular shojo manga series by Tada Kaoru that has already been adapted for TV four times in three countries, returns for more romantic hijinks in the TV special Itazura na Kiss 2 Love in Okinawa.

Picking up right from the end of the first season Itazura na Kiss Love in TOKYO, the intelligent and cool-as-a-cucumber Naoki (Furukawa Yuki) and the not-so-smart but plucky Kotoko (Miki Honoka) embark on their honeymoon in Okinawa. There, the couple meets fellow newlyweds played by former AKB48 member Masuda Yuka and Okabe Nao (Human Trust), as well as three members of A.N.JELL (Cheng Yu Xi, Evan Yo and Hwang In Deok) from Taiwan’s adaptation of K-Drama You’re Beautiful. The trip will test the strength of Naoki and Kotoko’s young marriage, and give them the adventure of a lifetime!
