Helmed by Leong Po Chih who directed 2000’s thriller He Lives By Night, the 3D Halloween horror movie Baby Blues features real-life couple Raymond Lam (Saving General Yang) and Karena Ng (Magic To Win), emerging Mainland actress Sheng Jun, Lo Hoi Pang (The White Storm), Kate Tsui (I Love Hong Kong) and Irene Wan (Triad). Shot in China and Hong Kong, the chilling film follows a series of oddly unfortunate events that take place after a pair of newlyweds move into an apartment haunted by the spirit of an abandoned doll.
Famed music producer Ip Ho (Raymond Lam) and his wife Tin Ching (Sheng Jun) move into their suburban dream home where Tin Ching finds a lovely vintage wind-up doll. Misfortune knocks on everyone’s door once they’re exposed to Ip Ho’s new music project revolving death, including Tin Ching who is pregnant with twins. Suffering from postpartum depression after giving birth prematurely, Tin Ching mistakes the doll as one of her children who died at birth.
