Based on a series of crime novels by Honda Tetsuya, television drama Strawberry Night is a gritty police procedural in which the heroine’s journey through the sexist world of crime solving is as compelling as the grisly murder cases. Based on the Himekawa Series’ fourth novel Invisible Rain, the Strawberry Night film sees Himekawa flirting with danger when she falls in love with a gang member during her investigation.
