As its title indicates, Vengeance is a series about revenge – revenge of an innocent girl on a man who destroys her whole family. Hoi Chiu (Irene Wan), a simple girl brought up in an orphanage, reunites with her mother and learns that Kiu Wing Fat (Wong Wei) is the culprit for destroying her family. She vows for revenge on Fat, and she has changed her life completely ever since. She deliberately breaks up with her lover (Wan Yeung Ming) and dates Kiu Wing Fat’s third son Kiu Lik (Gallen Lo) to carry out her plan. However, the one she really loves is Uncle Rain, a sponsor of the orphanage whom she has been communicating with through writing since a young age. Only after she has started her plans for revenge does she discover that Uncle Rain is in fact Kiu Wing Fat’s second son Kiu Lap (Deric Wan)! Will Hoi Chiu lose everything for vengeance? How will she choose between revenge and love?
