Located in Gangnam, Seoul, Cheongdamdong is an upscale area known for luxury shopping and posh living. This wealthy neighborhood serves as the telltale setting and inspiration for the 2012 SBS drama Cheongdamdong Alice. Popular actress Moon Geun Young stars as the “Alice” of this cynical modern fairy tale, the poor but determined fashion designer Han Se Kyung. Despite her humble background, she believes hard work will prevail.
