To emulate the success of the 2001 drama Country Spirit, producer Wong Wai Sing (Square Pegs) assembled an excellent cast toplined by Bowie Lam (in his final TVB drama), Sunny Chan, Linda Chung, and Nancy Sit for TVB’s new winery drama River of Wine. Over the years, Yiu has kept his promise to take care of the wine business and his disabled stepsister Sung Chi Ching (Linda Chung). A storm is brewing when Sung Chi Chun (Pierre Ngo) – the long-lost son of the Sungs thought to be dead – returns home all of a sudden to claim his rightful place as the heir of the wine business….
