Jet Li is Tsui, who seems to be nothing more than a bookish librarian. His pal, Inspector Shek (Sean Lau Ching Wan), thinks Tsui is a wimp and needs to learn to stand up for himself. But Shek doesn’t know the truth: Tsui was once in a group of genetically-engineered assassins called Squad 701. But when all of the drug dealers in Hong Kong begin to get mysteriously killed, it becomes apparent that Squad 701 has something to do with it. Tsui’s former pupil (sexy Francoise Yip) shows up in town to take down Tsui, who has no choice but to fight back and reveal himself as…the Black Mask! Yuen Woo Ping (The Matrix) choreographed the action for Black Mask, which are staged with violent, acrobatic energy and bullets-blazing flair! Producer Tsui Hark and director Daniel Lee (A Fighter’s Blues) pull out all the stops for Black Mask, an entertaining Hong Kong hit with cool style and even cooler action sequences!.

The title of Barbara Wong’s tearjerker The Stolen Years refers to the protagonist’s five years of lost memories after she wakes up from an accident. Mainland actress Bai Baihe (Love is Not Blind) and Taiwan heartthrob Joseph Chang (GF*BF) play a pair of conflicted lovers in this tragic, plot-twisting, romantic melodrama about a girl’s heart-searching journey of love and self.
